The Calligraphy Guild of Oklahoma – Tulsa was founded in Tulsa in 1979, by Frances J. Mitchell (1926-2020). The guild’s purpose is to share in the appreciation of calligraphy as an art and craft, promoting studies of its history and applications, and to carry out educational programs for its members.

REGULAR monthly meetings are held on the FOURTH MONDAY of each month, except June, July & December, at the offices of Dr. Steve Groves, “His Vision Eyecare,” SW corner of 91st & Sheridan, Tulsa, OK (west of Walgreens). Doors open at 5:45pm, with meetings  starting at 6:00pm, focused on calligraphy and related arts, with programs, demonstrations, discussions and displays.
